Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

We spent a lovely morning at church with my mom, listening to one of my favorite preachers—Dr. Raymond Barber. He always begins preaching quoting Scripture from memory and also this saying "When you open the Bible, you are opening the mind of God." I am so thankful for God's gift of His Son and that we have easy access to the Word of God.

We have a Virtue & Praise Book Club meeting on December 28th at 7 pm central time. Guest author/coach/publisher Monika Polefka-Proulx, with Reachout Publishing, will be joining us. Her book is No Matter What – How Far Would You Go to Save Your Child? No Matter What is the gripping story of a mother's fight to save her teenage daughter from an all-consuming depression. Follow their journey as the mom discovers strength, she never knew she had and her daughter learns about the power of unconditional love. If you are interested in learning more about her story or are curious about publishing, we would love for you to join us! Please reply back to this email if you are interested and I will email you the zoom link to join us

Last month's guest was such a blessing. I wanted to give you a chance to hear her testimony.

My husband is taking the chocolate chip cookies out of the oven but we still have a few cookies for Santa to bake. (I think Mrs. Claus is wanting peanut butter cookies!) What are your favorite Christmas treats? Holler back and let me know!

Happy Fall! We finally have a reprieve from the sweltering sun here in south Arkansas. Who knows how long it will last? (I'm hoping for a while!) I feel like I am finally making some progress in editing book 3 of the Shady Springs Series. There was a scene I had been particularly dreading, and I made it through with only a few tears. I am hoping to have this book in an editor's hands by January and for a release date next summer. I also am prepping for Nanowrimo this November. The plan is to...
